Residents burdened by high utility costs in the Northern Marianas are set to receive their vouchers, following the payment of $10 million dollars by the company that will build Saipan's casino.

The administration of Governor Eloy Inos has confirmed that Best Sunshine International has deposited the money and the next step is for the utilities corporation to send information on the number of residential accounts.
The payment to the Community Benefit Fund was a condition of the awarding of the exclusive licence to build the casino.
Another $40 million is expected to flow to the CNMI under the Community Benefit Fund of the Hong Kong-based investor.
