Sport: OFC President's Cup to kick-off

The OFC President's Cup gets underway on Monday with Oceania club football champions Auckland City taking on the Singapore U-23 team in Group A.

City are using the tournament as preparation for December's FIFA Club World Cup in Morocco, where they face a winner takes all play-off against local side Moghreb Tetouan.

The Singaporean squad arrived in New Zealand at the weekend and includes 18 year-old attacking midfielder Adam Swandi, who plays his club football for French top flight side Metz and has won four senior international caps.

Elsewhere on Match Day 1 the World Cup bound Fiji U-20 team take on Vanuatu club side Amicale.

Cayman Island champions Bodden Town and Busaiteen from Bahrain will begin their campaigns on Wednesday.
