National still has comfortable lead over Labour - poll

The latest 3 News poll shows National maintaining a comfortable lead over Labour, despite a week during which the Prime Minister came under pressure over the Kim Dotcom saga.

The Reid Research poll has National down 1.8 points to 48.8%.

The Labour Party is up 2.2 points to 33%.

The Greens are down 0.6 points to 10.6%.

New Zealand First is up 0.2 points to 3.2%.

In the preferred Prime Minister poll, John Key is still well ahead of Labour leader David Shearer, on 41% compared with 8.5%.

The poll has a margin of error of 3.1% and surveyed 1000 people.
