Social Development Minister Paula Bennett has announced the terms of reference for a review of the complaints process at Child, Youth and Family.
Former police commissioner Howard Broad will carry out the independent review, following the recently released White Paper to address child abuse and neglect.
Ms Bennett told Parliament the review will look at whether complaints against Child, Youth and Family could be handled independently.
She said the terms of reference include reviewing the current arrangements for members of the public to have a complaint heard, through to options for independent reporting.
