The bodies of three Boston University students killed in a central North Island crash last Saturday have been released to their families by police.
Three students were killed, and one critically injured, when their van rolled after hitting roadside gravel on State Highway 46 south of Turangi.
A police spokesperson says post mortems have been completed and the bodies are now with their families.
Police will not say if criminal charges will be laid in relation to the crash.
