Several domestic flights have been delayed or cancelled due to fog at Auckland International Airport.
An airport spokesperson said the fog had lifted by early afternoon and the backlog of flights were being cleared.
Four international flights were initially diverted to Wellington and Christchurch, but were subsequently heading back to Auckland.
