Police divers have found the body of the man who went missing after a dinghy sank in Wellington harbour on Saturday afternoon.
Police say two men were in the boat between 50 - 75 meters off shore from State Highway Two near the Horokiwi turnoff.
Neither was wearing a life jacket, but one managed to swim to shore and raised the alarm just before 3.30pm.
Police divers found the body of the second man about two hours later.
The submerged dinghy has been located, but it is not yet known why it sank or if it will be recovered.
