Two men charged with the murder of a Helensville man appeared in North Shore District Court, Auckland, on Monday.
The body of Lee McMurdo, 32, who was a known user and dealer of illicit drugs, was found at his home in July last year.
Andrew Parry Nicholson, 24, and a man 27, who has interim name suppression, also face a number of methamphetamine-related charges.
Both were remanded in custody until 4 September.
Victoria Jackson, 21 also appeared on six drug-related charges. She was remanded on bail.
Police say 3000 people were interviewed during the investigation.
