Pair sought over death of Upper Hutt woman

Police are looking for two men seen near a block of flats in Upper Hutt where a woman died.

Mary Donnelly, 38, was found dead in her flat in Ebdentown Street by family members on 30 August.

Aman was arrested and charged with her murder on Wednesday.

Police say they are now looking for two men seen near the flat just after 5pm on 29 August.

One is Maori, in his late 20s or early 30s, of solid build, average height and dark wavy hair.

The other is a youth, described as Maori, slightly built, with brown hair, wearing a distinctive bright white jacket.

Police say the youth is not in trouble, but they would like to talk to him as part of the investigation.
