Fog is starting to clear after causing delays and cancellations to flights in and out of Wellington on Sunday and Monday morning.
After cancelling all flights on Sunday evening - Air New Zealand and Jetstar both provided extra services on Monday.
Air New Zealand cancelled three services this morning advises passengers to keep an eye on its website in case there are further disruptions.
Meanwhile Jetstar put on two more return services between Auckland - Wellington and one from Christchurch to Wellington.
MetService said the fog had retreated to Cook Strait, but could still return.
About 40 flights were cancelled on Sunday.
