A man wanted in relation to a vehicle seen at the time of a shooting in the Auckland suburb of Flat Bush has been found by police.
Police have been looking for Gareth Heron after a 23-year-old man was shot outside his house in East Tamaki two days ago.
He suffered a gunshot wound to the stomach and remains in a critical condition in Middlemore Hospital.
Police say Mr Heron was found at a Tuakau address on Friday, and the vehicle connected to him, has also been located.
Another man, 29, who lived at the home where the shooting happened has been charged with unlawful possession of a firearm.
