A 68-year old man has been flown to Christchurch Hospital after a jet boat incident on the Rakaia River about 6:30pm Saturday.
No details were available but the ambulance service said the man had moderate to serious injuries.
It says a rescue helicopter took the man to hospital Saturday evening.
