A man has died after being hit by a fork lift in Christchurch.
Anthony Stephen Wells, an employee of Busck Prestressed Concrete Ltd was working at the firm's premises on Annex Road.
Detective Sergeant Chris Power believes the 47-year-old was struck by a fork lift being driven by another employee.
Mr Wells was pronounced dead at the scene by a paramedic.
The Department of Labour is investigating.
