A man who was the focus of a search in Whangarei has turned up safely on the North Shore in Auckland.
Clinton Wilson, 32, has severe epilepsy and has at least two seizures a day. He disappeared from his home in the suburb of Denby on Tuesday afternoon.
North Shore Hospital has reported he turned up there after hitch-hiking from Whangarei.
