Auckland airport is now fully open after fog and then a faulty plane caused delays for travellers.
The fog occurred on Tuesday morning, causing problems for regional flights.
Then a Qantas aircraft taxiing off the runway after its arrival from Sydney experienced a problem with its brakes, forcing part of the runway to be closed while it was removed.
The runway is now open again, but the airport said passengers should check on their flights, as there will be some on-going delays.
Several flights were diverted to Christchurch airport.
