Two truck drivers escaped unharmed from a crash on State Highway 1 near Picton shortly before 1.30pm on Wednesday.
The collision happened at the highway's intersection with Lindens Road where police say one of the trucks failed to give way.
Traffic was down to one lane, but both lanes have since reopened.
Police in Marlborough say one of the drivers is likely to face charges.
