Future of council chief executive to be discussed

10:03 am on 5 September 2013

A private meeting of Christchurch City Council members will be held on Friday to discuss the future of chief executive Tony Marryatt.

Mr Marryatt has been on paid leave for two months while an investigation is done into the role he played in the council's building consents problems.

The council's consents accreditation has been revoked and a Crown manager is working to get it reinstated.

The chief executive sub-committee will report to councillors at 8am on Friday.
