A car going the wrong way down the northwestern motorway in Auckland has crashed head-on with another car between Lincoln Road and Te Atatu.
Four people were injured. Three adults and a child are in a stable condition in Auckland hospital.
The Lincoln Road onramp was closed while the scene was cleared.
The car was travelling west on citybound lanes at 1.20am on Tuesday. The crash happened shortly afterwards.
