A woman, said to be in a confused state, has been reported missing from Waitakere Hospital.
Christine Smyth, 61, was reported missing about midday on Sunday and it is thought she will be walking in the Henderson area or trying to get to New Lynn.
Her family and the police say they are worried about her safety as she may be in a confused state.
She is Pakeha, with light brown and grey hair which is cut in a bob style.
She is slim, 170 cm tall and was wearing long dark pants and a cardigan of unkown colour.
Police are asking any residents and commuters in the area to call the Henderson Police Station on (09) 8390600 if she is sighted.
