A woman has died after being struck by a vehicle driven by her husband on their rural property near Christchurch.
Police have confirmed the woman, in her 50s, was killed by a four-wheel-drive farm vehicle on her property near Lincoln on Wednesday.
Emergency services were called to a lifestyle farm on Ellesmere Road just before 8pm.
Detective Sergeant Richard Quested says the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
He says the incident is being treated as an accidental death and has been referred to the coroner.
