Police will have to conduct more forensic tests to find out how a teenager died in Waikato.
The 17-year-old woman was found dead at her brother's house in Te Aroha Street on Wednesday morning.
A post-mortem conducted on Thursday identified that further examinations are required, which could take several days to complete
Police say while that happens, the death will continue to be treated as suspicious.
Scene examinations and interviews with neighbours continued on Thursday.
