Police say a shooting that left a Waikato woman with serious wounds to her leg and torso looks to have been accidental.
They say the shooting at a Russell Avenue property in Te Aroha left the 19-year-old with injuries that probably came from a single shot.
A 16-year-old boy has been charged with wounding with reckless disregard for the safety of others and a 21-year-old man with the unlawful possession of a pistol.
Officers are continuing forensic work at the property where the shooting occurred.
