Police divers will on Friday join a search for a missing man in Christchurch.
David John Mackle has been missing from his Opawa home since around 11pm on Wednesday, 11 December.
His Gold Band taxi, a white 2008 Toyota Camry, registration number ELQ718, was found near Walter Park in Kellys Road, Mairehau, last Thursday.
Searches have been carried out in the Mairehau area.
Detective Sergeant Richard Quested says the squad will search a drainage creek and pond alongside Water Park between Kellys Road and East Ellington Drive.
An initial search of the creek has already been carried out.
