Police divers in Tauranga are continuing a search for a missing fisherman in the harbour.

Peato Ilalio, 40, dived into the water off the Kauri Point wharf, north of Katikati, to retrieve his fishing rod on Thursday afternoon and has not been seen since.
Senior Sergeant Eddie Lyttle said on Friday the dive squad is being helped by the Coastguard and other officers.
Mr Lyttle said the search is focused on the Kauri Point area.
