Police say the driver involved in a fatal high speed crash near Dannevirke on Saturday is likely to face charges.
Police say shortly before the crash, the Holden Commodore was clocked at 124 kilometres an hour in a 50 kilometre zone.
A passenger, Daniel Troy Leslie, 31, was killed in the crash.
The driver and another passenger received minor injuries.
Police say they believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
