Two men have been charged over an aggravated burglary North Otago at the weekend.
Police say two men armed with weapons entered a sleepout at an Oamaru property and demanded drugs about 11pm on Saturday.
Detective Warren Duncan said one of the offenders, who is 20, was injured following an altercation, while the other man fled the property after threatening two adults.
The 20-year-old was found later by police and taken to hospital, but has since been discharged.
Mr Duncan said that man and a 26-year-old have been charged with aggravated burglary and robbery. They will appear in court later this week.
