Police in Dunedin have arrested and jointly charged three men with the murder of a young man whose body was found on a Dunedin beach on Friday.
The body which was discovered at Blueskin Bay Estuary has now been named as James Matthew Ellis, 23.
The three men arrested are aged 17, 25 and 47-years-old and will appear in the Dunedin District Court on Monday.
Police with the assistance of the Christchurch ESR spent Sunday examining three residential addresses in Dunedin and one in Oamaru.
