Two drivers are in a critical condition on Tuesday after a crash in Waikato.
The collision between two cars occurred in an isolated area known as the Hewi Hills, 50km south of Te Kuiti, just before 10am.
A man and a woman were taken to Waikato Hospital.
The crash closed part of State Highway 4 earlier in the day.
