A teenager has been charged with assault after a fatal stabbing at a birthday party in Pakuranga, Auckland.
Warren Rosillo, 18, was stabbed in the head and chest on Friday night.
The accused, aged 17, is due to appear in Manukau District Court on Monday.
Police say more serious charges are likely.
Knives have been found that they believe may have been used in the attack.
A post mortem will be held on Monday.
