A toddler has been critically hurt in an accident on the driveway of her home in Hastings.
Police say the incident happened when a courier van was leaving the property in the suburb of Flaxmere.
The 17-month-old girl was taken to Hawke's Bay hospital with internal injuries and has been transferred to Starship hospital in Auckland for specialist care.
