A father and son charged with murder at a beach near Dunedin can now be named.
James Ellis, 23, was found dead from blunt force injuries at Blueskin Bay estuary last April.
Three men were arrested shortly after and jointly charged with his murder.
One is Peter Holmes, 25.
The High Court at Dunedin on Wednesday lifted name suppression on the other two.
They are Dean Carruthers, 47, of Dunedin and his son Mark, 18.
The father is bailed on strict conditions, but the son is being held in custody because he could not provide a suitable bail address.
