Five school students are still in hospital as a result of a crash between their school bus and a logging truck on Monday.
The crash occurred near Ruatoki in eastern Bay of Plenty.
An eight-year-old girl remains in a critical, but stable condition in intensive care at Starship hospital in Auckland.
Also still in hospital are a 16-year-old girl in Whakatane and two 12-year-old boys and a 10-year-old girl in Tauranga.
Bay of Plenty District Health Board says these four patients are all comfortable and stable.
