A farm worker has been killed in a quad bike accident near Tuatapere in Southland.
Police say the 67-year-old man died from injuries he sustained when the bike rolled on top of him about 2.30pm on Wednesday.
The police and the Department of Labour are investigating.
They say there are no suspicious cirumstances surrounding the death, which has been referred to the coroner.
