Three men have appeared in court charged in connection with the death of a 23-year-old at a party in Auckland on Friday morning.
John Li'a died at the roadside in Hillsborough following an altercation.
Two 19-year-olds, Unalotu Kipulotu Tongia and Esau Vailagilala, and Faamanu Ian Fesulai who is 43, have appeared in Auckland District Court charged with assault.
They have been remanded in custody until Monday.
The police said on Friday Mr Li'a had suffered stab wounds and injuries from an assault.
