Another scrub fire that broke out on Friday in the Far North has been brought under control.
The Fire Service says it first received calls at 2.30pm on Friday afternoon reporting a small scrub fire spreading fast up a hill at Kokohuia Road in Omapere on the Hokianga Harbour.
A helicopter and four fire appliances were fighting the fire - which was the size of a football field.
No houses were at risk.
