Woman's body found in Scorching Bay

Police Wellington say a body discovered at Scorching Bay on Thursday afternoon is that of an elderly woman.
The body was found on the rocks just before 2pm by a member of the public.
The National Dive Squad and Wellington Police Maritime Unit are searching the shoreline near where the body was found.
Detective Inspector Paul Basham says the death is being treated as unexplained until a post-mortem on Friday.
