MetService says more waterspouts are possible in the Auckland region on Thursday.
There was a series of waterspouts on the Waitemata harbour late on Wednesday afternoon.
Forecaster Daniel Corbett says they are difficult to predict.
He says there is also a risk of heavy thunderstorms in Auckland.
