Guildford out of quarter final

All Black winger Zac Guildford will not be playing in the Rugby World Cup quarter final against Argentina on Sunday due to a hamstring injury.

He was injured on Wednesday, just as the team welcomed the return to fitness of captain Richie McCaw.

Guildford scored four tries in the All Blacks 79-15 win over Canada in their final pool match last weekend.

All Black assistant coach Steve Hansen says McCaw's foot injury needs to be managed but the captain is not risking long-term damage and wouldn't be played if he was.
