Zespri's chief financial officer has resigned. Merv Dallas made the announcement on Tuesday.
Chief executive Lain Jager thanked Mr Dallas for his 12 years of service and said he played a tremendous role in the industry's recovery from PSA, maintaining the confidence of investors in the industry to have faith in its ability to overcome the disease.
Zespri is being investigated by the Serious Fraud Office in New Zealand.
Last year the company was convicted and fined in China for its role in a duty-avoidance scam.
