The meat industry has named the directors who will lead its primary growth partnership programme, Farm IQ Systems.
The company is made up of meat processor and exporter Silver Fern Farms, rural servicing company PGG Wrightson and state-owned farming enterprise Landcorp.
It aims to turn the meat industry's production-led approach into a market-led one, and lift meat returns.
Alison Paterson, a rural accountant and professional director, will chair Farm IQ Systems.
The other directors are: Keith Cooper and David Clarke from Silver Fern Farms, South Otago farmer Rob Hewett, Landcorp chief executive Chris Kelly and Tim Miles from PGG Wrightson.
Farm IQ Systems will begin a farmer roadshow in Dargaville on Monday.
