The national women's football team has again thrashed Papua New Guinea, this time 7-0 to wrap up their Oceania Olympic qualifying series in the second leg at Port Moresby.
The Football Ferns led 4-0 at half-time - and along with the 8-0 hiding dished out in the opening home leg in Whangarei, the team qualified for the London Games with a huge 15-0 aggregate.
Final selection for both the men's and women's team for London is expected to be approved by the New Zealand Olympic Committee next week.
