All Blacks and Chiefs dominate rugby awards nominations

The All Blacks and the Chiefs dominate this year's nominations for the 2012 New Zealand Rugby Awards.

The Chiefs captain Craig Clarke and playmaker Aaron Cruden have been nominated for the Super Rugby Player of the Year award alongside the Hurricanes' captain Conrad Smith.

The All Blacks, the Chiefs and Canterbury's ITM cup team are all nominated for the Team of the Year award.

Meanwhile, Chiefs Coach Dave Rennie, All Blacks Sevens stalwart Gordon Tietjens and All Blacks boss Steve Hansen have all been nominated for New Zealand Rugby Coach of the Year.
