The one-time All Blacks first five Mike Delaney is to temporarily join French Top 14 club Clermont as injury cover.
Delany, who's 30, played his only test in 2009 and has recently been playing in Japan.
Delany played for Bay of Plenty under Vern Cotter, who now coaches Clermont.
