The champion Australian horse Black Caviar's bid for a 25th successive win could be put on hold if there is more torrential rain in Sydney this week.

The six-year-old mare is scheduled to race at Randwick on Saturday but trainer Peter Moody has reiterated his stance that Black Caviar won't run on a heavy track.

Black Caviar been's called Australia's most famous horse since the legendary 1930 Melbourne Cup winner Phar Lap, which was foaled in New Zealand but trained and raced in Australia.
