William Curtayne of Auckland and Nicky Samuels of Wanaka have won their respective races in the second round of the New Zealand Triathlon series in Whangamata.
Brent Foster led the men's race out of the swim, Cameron Brown took over the lead on the bike, while Curtayne took the lead on the last lap of the run to win from Brown and his twin brother Andrew Curtayne.
Meanwhile Samuels took control early in the bike leg of the women's race to finish 10 minutes ahead of Sarah Bryant with Jacqui Seebold third.
