The New Zealand tennis number one Marina Erakovic says she's bitterly disappointed to have bowed out of the singles at the Australian Open.
The 20-year-old has been beaten in the second round 6-1, 3-6, 9-7 by the Czech Republic's Lucie Safarova.
Erakovic says it's a hard loss to take, given she was serving and playing well.
Marina Erakovic will today team up with Jelena Costanic Tosic of Croatia in the doubles.
They're set to play Lucie Safarova and Galina Voskoboeva of Kazahkstan.
