The New Zealand rugby player Dan Carter could miss the rest of the season after suffering an Achilles tendon injury.
Carter's Perpignan club haven't commented on the injury, which came during a French championship game between Perpignan and Stade Francais.
The All Blacks first five eighth limped off the field in the last seconds of the weekend game, just after scoring a penalty which helped Perpignan secure a 13-all draw.
Carter joined Perpignan in December on what is being called a rugby sabbatical.
