The Auckland cricket coach Mark O'Donnell is to join the BlackCaps support team as Assistant Coach for the series against India.
O'Donnell, who has previously toured on the BlackCaps coaching staff, will join coach Andy Moles, bowling coach Shane Jurgensen and the squad before the first One-Day International in Napier on March the 3rd.
Moles says O'Donnell will make a significant contribution to the support team, he has a long and successful track-record of coaching around the world at first class and international level.
The Auckland Cricket chief excutive Andrew Eade says although Auckland will be disappointed to lose O'Donnell for the important final rounds of the State Championship, they recognize it is a wonderful opportunity for him.
