Black Caps hand control to India

The New Zealand cricketers have handed control of the third test to India , losing five wickets while scoring 76 runs in the afternoon session on day two in Wellington to slide to 139 for seven at tea.

After India was dismissed for 379 the pace bowler Zaheer Khan took the first four wickets before Harbhajan Singh got two.

The spinner's first victim was Ross Taylor, who unlucky to go caught behind for 42 when the ball came off a thigh pad, not his bat.

Brendon McCullum's on seven and Tim Southee has yet to score.
