St Helens add Bulls scalp

Former Warriors winger Francis Meli scored two tries as leaders St Helens set a new Super League record for consecutive away wins with a 44-18 victory at Bradford Bulls.

Meli grabbed Saints first and last tries in their 16th successive win on the road but they didn't have it all their own way as they inflicted revenge on the Bulls.

Danny Buderus scored his first try for Leeds Rhinos as they ran riot in a 48-14 win at HarlequinsSaturday to stay in second place.

The former Australia hooker was one of eight different try scorers as the Rhinos bounced back from their shock defeat to Quins at Headingley in April.

Former New Zealand full-back Brent Webb, who had an outstanding game, were also on the scoresheet.

Hull KR ended their two-match losing run with a 32-18 success at Celtic Crusaders.

And more than 18,000 fans saw Warrington come from behind to beat Catalans Dragons 24-12 at in the first ever Super League match in Spain.
